My brother Joe came to visit me ages ago. We went to the flinders ranges which is about as outback as we could afford. We also went to see dolphins and waterfalls and other delights, as well as getting drunk a little too much. I have also been on a 'driver training weekend' with the uni waterski club. I am now a fully fledged apprentice ski boat driver. I just now have to make more effort to actually go out there and drive. I have also taken up Judo, and am learning to do stuff like holding people down and throwing them around. Beware, as next time I see anyone I know I will be holding them down and not letting go. Ever. I promise it won't hurt. This week I am being immensely productive. I am looking for a conference on Mathematical Biology or Bioinformatics in the UK in January or July next year (or both). If anyone knows of any (?) please let me know.
